Visitor & Alternate Parking Areas
We understand how difficult parking can be in Oxford. Below is a list of visitor and alternative parking areas that you may want to consider if you are having difficulty finding parking. Please refer to the appropriate websites for more up to date information.
South Campus Avenue has metered parking. The city of Oxford uses smart meters and the passport parking app in some locations including South Campus Avenue. Please review the City of Oxford Parking Page for more information on how to pay, pricing, hours.
Metered Street Parking:
Non-Metered & Non-RPP Street Parking:
Limited portions of S Main Street, S Poplar Street, Oberlin Courts, Wooster Place, Central and Chestnut all have sections that are not RPP (Residential Permit Parking) so you may park for free in these areas. Click on Oxford Parking Map to view RPP and non-RPP zones. When parking on the street, be sure to check for street signs indicating if the area is in an RPP zone. Parking in an RPP area without the appropriate permit will result in ticketing.
Miami University Parking - Campus Avenue Lot:
The Campus Avenue Garage is located at 501 S Campus Avenue between the Campus Avenue Building and the Recreational Sports Center. The garage has hourly rates for visitors and students, and students also have the option to purchase semester permits.
Faith Lutheran Church’s Bern Street Lot:
The church has limited spaces available for lease. To check availability, contact the church at 513-523-3808 or stop by the church office between 8am and noon Monday through Friday.
